Meet some of our people…
Mark ensures projects run in an effective and timely manner. He has extensive experience in a range of behavioural, process and systems change projects. His passion is in understanding and influencing how organisations innovate and learn, working closely with STC’s Designed for Business team to develop solutions that leave clients with permanent productivity from their most challenging problems.
Dr Douglas Leith
A background in engineering and a passion for delivering creative projects for technical and industrial clients, Doug ensures we develop outputs which bring clarity from complexity. He is the creator of our Designed for Business approach.
Ross delivers design support to a wide range of STC projects. He is equally at home creating innovative production options, first class digital presentation materials and a range of promotional materials whilst ensuring that content is production ready for whatever its end application might be.
Director, STC Maritime
An experienced maritime professional and associate member of the Energy Institute, Chris has vast experience gained over more than 40 years in multiple roles at sea and ashore. His active sea career started at 16 years of age, serving in sea-going positions from the lowest rating to Captain over 23 years. Working as a rating for many of these years gave Chris crucial insight into the multi-cultural human aspects of ships’ crews. This enables him to ‘speak their language’ and he has developed skills that overcome communication barriers and lead to optimal performance. Applying the same approach to officers, and subsequently to shore-side activities, his leadership skills continue to instil competence and deliver value.
Hazel is a vastly experienced trainer and coach and a founding Director of STC Global. Her background in business management extends to oil & gas, motoring, financial services and aviation. Hazel's main areas of expertise have a communication bias and include courses on performance management, business presentation skills, safety leadership, practical trainer skills, supervisory skills, team building, customer care, coaching skills and effective communication at work.
Morag is responsible for the management of our training and development planner that sees courses run all over the world. She works closely with the STC team to ensure that the right resources are deployed each time, and equally closely with client training management teams to ensure every delegate knows where to go and what to expect.
